Well, since it’s getting close to Christmas ‘22, I thought I’d paint a watercolor with “concepts” included that I absolutely love. 1) I LOVE Christmas! 2) I love painting snowscenes! 3) I love old trucks! 4) I love old barns/farms! I think besides my Savior and my family…5) I LOVE my country! A lot of symbolism here, which points to 6) I love telling stories with my paintings, even and especially when I “marry” two or more reference photos together. The barn here is the same subject matter as last week, just a different view-the Wehpittituck Farm in Stonington, CT and the old truck is from Maggie Valley, NC. This is a slightly larger watercolor than I usually paint.
