Can you believe this painting culminates yet another year of my personal challenge-year #5!!

And I can’t think of a better subject to share with you than this beautiful homestead of former students of mine when I taught at UBCS and continued great friends. Merry Christmas Ed and Trish Kerver!!

I won’t pretend. This painting was certainly a challenging one, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it come together as I worked on it. One of my favorite things in this painting is Ed’s favorite motorcycle, a 1949 Harley Davidson Panhead in front of the barn.

Merry Christmas FB friends and thank you for seeing me through another year. You all have been such an encouragement to me as I accomplish my weekly work. God bless!

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased! ’”
