Painted with permission from the reference photos of Pastor Rich Hall in the beautiful state of Ohio. Thanks so much Pastor Hall! This looks as though it is still a working farm, beautiful barn. I did take the liberty of changing 2 things: 1) I made the roof to look like the old tin roofs that are on so many structures like this. The actual roof on this barn is a brand new metal roof, so I just wanted to give it a bit more character. 2) I also changed the atmospheric conditions from a somewhat overcast day (no shadows) to the clearer day with strong shadows. Anyway…yeah, the white Ohio barn! The approximate framed out size of this watercolor is 17 1/2” x 19 1/4”.
